Praesto Jetted A50 HipH Resin Applications for Bispecific Antibody Purification
Bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) can become unstable under typical protein-A elution conditions (pH 3—3.5), causing aggregation and fragmentation. Novel Purolite Jetted A50 HipH resin is designed to elute antibodies in a higher pH range (up to pH 5). Two bsAb molecules were evaluated by Jetted A50 HipH and a standard protein A resin to maximize monomer purity. Jetted A50 HipH resin demonstrated increased separation and monomeric recovery when compared to the standard resin.
Created in collaboration with MabPlex, download yours free as the MabPlex team share their findings on the efficient purification of several bispecific antibodies using Purolite’s novel protein A resin that allows for elution of antibodies at higher pH. Significant improvements in performance and productivity result in significantly increased monomer purity in comparison with traditional Protein A resins.
